Swedish House Crafts Theodore & Bella Stands For Boy And Girl

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.
I'm back again for the second time this week with another DT post for Swedish House Crafts.
A friend of my Mother's asked me to make 2 baby cards for twins who were born last Friday.
Pion Design "Theodore & Bella" came to mind! These papers are perfect for most occasions, but you can't go wrong when looking to make a card for when a baby is born.
As the babies are twins. I thought that I would make two cards the same, but different.
The layout is exactly the same. The only difference is the colours of the embellishments that I have used on the cards. Pink for a girl, and blue for a boy.
I have also used some other products on my card from Swedish House Crafts.
Links to the products are in text, and can be found at the end of my post.

Here is my first card for the little girl.

Here is my second card for the little boy.

For the shape of my cards I used 300gsm Ivory cardstock, and GoKreate large frame frilly #5.
I used Pion " Theodore & Bella" papers to die cut, and layer the papers. I used GoKreate large frame frilly #5 as my base, and I've die cut the squares using Gummiapan stitched squares dies.
I matted the squares onto each other with 3D foam tape.
Other dies used from my craft stash are; Joy Crafts oval, Cheery Lynn French pastry doily, La La Land heart doily border, and rocking horse.
The Doohickey So Wrapped Lovely heart tag is from Swedish House Crafts.

Here is a close look at the pink flower arrangement.

And the blue flower arrangement.

All of the flowers are from my craft stash.
I die cut Gummiapan twig pointy leaves using Ivory cardstock, and placed them between the flowers.

Here are some more close up's.

I used papers from the collection to die cut the tag and sweet rocking horse
The letters that I used to cut, and spell the babies names are Tim Holtz idea-ology label letters.
I adhered them to the tag.
The seam binding, pearls, and silver coloured teddy bear charms are from my stash.

Some close ups of the images that I used.

I have surrounded the image's with a little shabby white embossing enamel, and stitched around the edges using pink cotton for the girl, and blue cotton for the boy. I used glamour dust on the bears bows to add a little sparkle.

Inside the cards are decorated to complement the front.

Phew!!! Did you get to the end?

Swedish House Crafts - Country Tilda Sitting On Grandpa's Porch

Hello, lovely blogger friends!
I hope you are well.
I'm on Swedish House Crafts blog today with my "Tuesday Craft Smorgasboard" DT creation.
I have made a shaped card, and used lots of gorgeous products from Swedish House Crafts.
Links to the products used are in text, and can be found at the end of my post.

I used Country Tilda masked with Grandpa's Porch from Magnolia Country Girl Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Bristol board extra smooth cardstock.
I have coloured the images with Prismacolor & Polychromos pencils.

For the shape of my card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #5, and
Maja Design "Walking In The Forest" papers.
Other dies that I used from my stash are; Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration, and
Cheery Lynn French pastry doily.
I have die cut, and layered the papers using Gummiapan stitched squares, and Gummiapan stitched banners, and matted them onto the base to create the layout of my card.
The pretty lace that I have adhered behind the image is from my craft stash.

A close look at Tilda sitting on Grandpa's porch.
I used Gummiapan Angelpost to stamp the top left, and right corners.
I used a Gummiapan stitched square die to cut the image.
I die cut another of the stitched squares using the design papers, and stitched around the outside using white top stitch thread. I then matted the image onto it with 3D foam tape. I die cut a third square, again using the design papers, and adhered that under the second stitched square.
The butterfly that I have cut out is included in one of the sheets of "walking In The Forest" papers.
I adhered 3mm yellow pearls in the centre of the flowers. 3mm Ivory pearls around the image, and a 5mm blue pearl on the bow in Tilda's hair.
I've dotted Tilda's cheeks with a white gelly roll pen.

My handmade flowers.
I used Gummiapan flowers die, and "Walking In The Forest" papers to make the flowers.
To make the flowers crumpled, I first spray them with water, then curled them together, and let them dry. Once the flowers were assembled, I used a pricking tool to make a hole in the centre, and pushed some stamens through.
I used Doohickey country leaves dies to cut the foliage that I have placed between the flowers.

I filled a corked glass bottle with Pikaby mini beads, and tied a bow around it with vax cord.

Inside the card is decorated with the design papers, and a GoKreate large frame frilly #5 die cut.

I hope that I have inspired you to get creative with the products that I used on my card?
Thank you for stopping by today.

Here is my exploding box.

I made the box using 300gsm cream card.

The box is decorated with Maja Design "Summertime" and "Coffee In The Arbour"
The strawberries are been made with Doohickey strawberry die "DH1098"
I attached the strawberries to the box with Ivory hemp twine.

A close up of the box lid.
The flowers that I made are from the kit. The stamens in the centre of the flowers, the bronze teapot charm, and seam binding are from my craft stash.

The exploding box with the lid removed.

And another.

Here is a close look of the individual sections that I have decorated.
I chose to use the doily, cupcake, cake stand, teacup, saucer, spoon, teapot, flowers and leaf dies from the kit for the inside of the exploding box.
They have all been cut with Maja "Summertime" papers.
I matted each of the assembled items onto a doily, and adhered some flowers and leaves.
I cut out the butterflies from a sheet of Maja "Coffee In The Arbour"
The 5mm Ivory self adhesive pearls that I have placed in each of the corners are from my craft stash.

Again, I used the Doohickey strawberry die to make the strawberries for the centre of the box.
I placed a few sissal fibres underneath before adhering them to the doily.

I hope you like my exploding box?
