New Challenge At Marvelous Magnolia.........................Beautiful Butterflies.

Good afternoon, crafty bloggers.
Today we have a new challenge starting at Marvelous Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is Beautiful Butterflies.
We want to see butterflies on your cards/projects.
I love butterflies.
Our wonderful sponsors for this challenge are ;

I have made a shaped card featuring Leo Tilda from the 2014 Zodiac Collection.

I have die cut a Spellbinders opulent oval with Neenah cardstock and stamped Leo Tilda from Sirstampalot onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have coloured Leo Tilda with Prismacolor pencils and inked around the edges of the oval with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
I sprinkled some Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts around the image and adhered 3mm white pearls either side of Tilda.

I have made the shaped card with 300gsm white Conqueror card and GoKreate
large frames frilly #2 from Cuttingedgecrafts.
The gorgeous papers are Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics from Live & Love Crafts.
I have inked the edges of the papers with tea dye distress ink.
The paper doily is from Grafton Crafts and the filigree corner is a La-La-Land cutting die.I inked around the filigree corner with tea dye distress ink and adhered a 3mm white pearl onto it.The pretty lace is from Ebay. You can find the lace HERE.
The ivory rose organza trim along the bottom of the card is from The Ribbon Girl.
I have adhered 5mm white pearls to each of the roses.
I have placed a piece of cheese cloth behind the image. I positioned the image with 2mm sticky pads.
The large bark heart is from Live & Love Crafts. I painted some white Gesso onto the heart and adhered 2 tiny butterflies which I punched out with the design paper and inked around the edges of the butterflies with tea dye distress ink. I dotted the centres of the butterflies with Ranger white liquid pearls from Live & Love Crafts.
I cut the letters out to spell Leo using Pion Design Grandma's school book from
Live & Love Crafts which I have inked around with tea dye distress ink. I have just seen that Grandma's school book has now been discontinued and only a few remain in stock.
The beautiful butterflies are Memory Box Pippi. I have frantaged them with shabby blue embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts and coloured their centres with a Prismacolor pencil. I have also adhered 3mm white pearls down their centres.

For the flower arrangement I have used white daisies which I have Frantaged in the centre with shabby blue embossing enamel and white lilies all from The Ribbon Girl.
20 mm antique blue open roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and Kort & Godt white chrysanthemums from Live & Love crafts.
For the foliage I have used Cheery Lynn pine branches and inked the edges with tea dye distress ink.

A close up of Leo Tilda.
Isn't she adorable? I love her.
I have used a Inkssentials opaque white pen to dot her cheeks.

Inside the card is decorated with the design paper and a Spellbinders opulent oval.

I hope you can come and join in with our Beautiful Butterflies challenge.
