Tilda With Wrapped Heart.

Hello, Crafty bloggers.
I hope you are all well?
It's been a really tough couple of weeks for my hubby and I. Our gorgeous little Pug named George sadly passed away on the 5th of February. His passing has left our home empty and our hearts broken. We loved him very much and miss him enormously.
We are finding comfort from all our happy memories of him.
I have been keeping busy in my craft room and have made a shaped card featuring Tilda With Wrapped Heart from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012. I have coloured her in sepia which I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed .

I have die cut a Spellbinders floral oval with Neenah cardstock and stamped Tilda With Wrapped Heart onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink. I have coloured Tilda with Prismacolor and
Polychromos pencils.
I inked around the edges of the floral oval with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink and sprinkled Frantage shabby white embossing enamel around the image. The Frantage is from Live & Love Crafts.

I have made the shaped card with 300gsm white Conqueror card and GoKreate large frames frilly #2.
The large frames frilly #2 are from Cuttingedgecrafts.
The pretty papers are Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics from Live & Love Crafts.
The heart shaped doily is from Live & Love crafts and the pretty lace is from Ebay. You can find the pretty lace HERE.
I placed a piece of cheese cloth behind the image.
The filigree corner die cuts are La-La-Land. I have inked the edges with tea dye distress ink.
The large bark heart is what my super bloggy friend sent me. I have adhered the Lilibet wooden love sentiment from Hobbycraft onto the bark heart.
The vintage wood bird cage is from Live & Love Crafts. I have tied a bow through the top of the bird cage with white shabby seam binding also from Live & Love crafts.

For the flower arrangement I have used a 25mm ivory wild rose and 25mm deep red roses both from
White Kort & Godt chrysanthemums and white poppies both from Live & Love Crafts.
For the foliage I have used Cheery Lynn pine branches and Martha Stewart woodland branches.
I have inked the edges of the branches with tea dye distress ink.
I have tied a bow with a piece of hemp twine through a wooden heart button and adhered it onto the flower arrangement. The twine and button are from The Ribbon Girl.

Here is a close up of Tilda With Wrapped Heart.
I have adhered a 3mm red pearl to the centre of the bow on the heart and added a few dots randomly around the image with Ranger white liquid pearls.

Inside the card is decorated with Maja Design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

I hope you like what you see?

I am entering my card into the following super challenges;

Here is a picture of George which was taken shortly before he passed away.

Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog today and big thanks for all your lovely comments.

Have a great weekend.
Crafty hugs.
